How can AI help supply chains keep pace with the speed of quick commerce while staying resilient and viable? This question was at the heart of the Industry Panel Discussion & Research Study Presentation on “Supply Chain Resilience and Viability for the Q-Commerce Age: Role of AI” held at IIT Madras. As a leading provider of integrated supply chain and logistics solutions, ProConnect collaborated with IIT Madras to bring together industry leaders, academicians, and practitioners to explore the transformative role of AI in shaping the future of supply chains. The event featured invited talks by Prof. Mohan Gopalakrishnan, R. Srinivasan International Visiting Chair Professor, IIT Madras, on AI in Quick Commerce, and Prof. Arshinder Kaur on AI for logistics and supply chain excellence, along with a research presentation by Mr. Sujan Mondal on building resilient and viable supply chains. The panel discussion brought together Mr. Rohan Chakraborty, Senior Vice President, Zepto; Mr. Amit Mande, Vice President & Head - National Account Management, Blue Dart; Mr. Naval Sabharwal, Independent Consultant; Mr. Hariharan Vishnampet Sethuraman, Group CEO, Redington Limited; and Prof. Mohan Gopalakrishnan, with Prof. Arshinder Kaur, Professor, Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, moderating the session. The conversations highlighted how AI is redefining logistics, operational decision-making, and supply chain resilience in an increasingly dynamic Q-Commerce ecosystem. The exchange of perspectives from both industry and academia underscored the need for collaborative innovation to build agile, resilient, and future-ready supply chains. Held as part of the International Visiting Chair Professorship at IIT Madras and supported by the Foundation for CSR Redington Limited, the event was organized in collaboration with ProConnect Integrated Logistics, reinforcing the company's commitment to fostering industry-academia partnerships, advancing knowledge exchange, and driving meaningful conversations on the future of supply chain and logistics excellence.
