The Social Impact Club is an IIT Madras initiative aimed at creating a forum for CSR professionals where key focus areas and challenges faced by the CSR community are discussed, shared, and collaboratively addressed. The 2nd edition of the Social Impact Club by IIT Madras in Bengaluru explored how CSR can shift from charity to systemic impact for people with disabilities. Themed "Enabling Abilities", the roundtable featured CSR leaders from top firms discussing the need for full-stack support for assistive tech — from R&D to market. Key takeaways highlighted the importance of ecosystems, inclusive design, modular proposals, and long-term skilling-focused CSR investments.
