Objective

• Implement various state-of-the-art technologies on the Avishkar Hyperloop pod., Incorporation of lane-switching mechanisms to our systems shall lead to a concrete proof of concept for the commercial viability of Hyperloop as a disruptive transportation system.

Description

• Avishkar Hyperloop is an internationally acclaimed, highly passionate student team from IIT Madras, focused on revolutionizing transportation with sustainable Hyperloop technologies., Mentored by Prof. Satya Chakravarthy, from the department of Aerospace Engineering, we work on an end to end scalable Hyperloop stack including both the vehicle and the associated infrastructure., We bagged prominent positions in some of the esteemed competitions, most recent one being the European Hyperloop Week 2023 held in Edinburgh, Scotland achieving a Global Top-5 position in some of the key categories that culminate to a scalable Hyperloop system.

Impact

• Our team amassed recognition from some of the most esteemed individuals including Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi., Hon'ble Union Finance Minister of India, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman recently encouraged us with our work which attracted the masses towards this technology., Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Ministry of Railways, announced support for our project of building a center for excellence of Hyperloop Technology.
